Punjab Chief minister Maryam Nawaz Wants Infrastructure and Health Upgraded within Timeline

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has advised to finalize road construction and repair schemes all over the Punjab before the end of the current financial year. She also ordered that construction and renovation of the initial phase of the health centers be brought to completion by June 30.

In a meeting at a very high level, CM Maryam Nawaz listened to the report on the work being done on the ongoing projects. She was informed that according to the Road Rehabilitation Program, 462 have been authorized while construction is in progress on 455 of the projects. Second, 72 schemes were passed under the second phase of the program, and of those, 67 are already under construction.

Maryam Nawaz stressed the importance of these projects because they will create beneficial connecting roads for millions of the population, as they will construct other roads apart from restoration to enhance economic activities through farm-to-market roads.
