Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) went down. The PSX 100 Index dropped by 308 points to close at 114,495.

The measure moved up and down within a range of 1,475 points during the business day, with 115,773 being the highest point.

65.94 million shares worth Rs. 39.64 billion worth of trades took place today. Due to this, the market value went down by Rs. 25 billion and ended at Rs. 14.197 trillion.

Analysts say the drop is due to investors being cautious and larger economic reasons that are changing how people trade on the market.
