Key meetings in Kabul, Pakistan and Afghanistan agree to strengthen relations

Kabul: During his visit, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held important meetings with the Afghan interim leadership, during which detailed discussions were held on security, trade, border management, and transit cooperation. Ishaq Dar said that Afghan refugees are being returned to their homeland with dignity and respect, and the process is being carried out under humanitarian principles.

In meetings with interim Afghan Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund and other senior officials, the two countries agreed to work together for peace, development, and stability in the region. Ishaq Dar made it clear that Pakistan will not allow any country’s territory to be used for terrorism, and the same is expected from Afghanistan.

Dar invited Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi to visit Pakistan and reiterated his commitment to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
