Gold price continues to drop, cheaper by 438,000 rupees per tola

KARACHI: The gold price in Pakistan remained unchanged on Thursday at the previous day’s level, while the silver price recorded a decrease.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola remained unchanged at Rs 425,636.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also remained unchanged at Rs 364,914.

There was no change in the price of gold in the global gold market, and it remained at $4,031 per ounce.

On the other hand, the price of silver per tola in the country decreased by Rs 86 to Rs 5,768, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs 73 to Rs 4,945.

The price of silver in the global market also decreased by 86 cents to $52.90 per ounce.

This difference in the prices of gold and silver shows that the prices of the two precious metals can move in different directions on a daily basis. In addition to global prices, the value of the rupee and local market conditions can also affect local rates.
