Rawalpindi: Pakistan has successfully tested an extended version of the locally developed Fateh 4 ground-launched cruise missile.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the new version is equipped with advanced avionics and advanced navigational aids. The system is capable of hitting targets with precision at long distances.
According to the ISPR, the missile test was witnessed by senior officers of the Pakistan Army, as well as scientists and engineers from the relevant defense system development organization.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the Services Chiefs expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the test.
The officials also appreciated the efforts of the scientists, engineers, and other experts involved in the development of the missile system.
