Karachi: GBP to PKR today, 08 May 2026, is being traded at Rs. 378.44 for buying and Rs. 382.45 for selling in the open market. In the interbank market, the UK pound sterling is standing at Rs. 378.80 for buying and Rs. 379.48 for selling.

The British Pound is continuing to remain among the strongest foreign currencies in Pakistan’s exchange market due to extensive trade, education, and remittance ties with the United Kingdom. Pakistani students and businesses connected with the UK are actively monitoring the latest currency movement.

The exchange rate is affecting import costs, overseas education expenses, and financial transfers from the UK to Pakistan. The pound’s performance is also influencing commercial trade activity and foreign exchange inflows linked with Pakistani expatriates living in Britain.
