LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stressed the need for a broader consensus on national issues, saying all political parties have to come together for the betterment of the country and its people. Addressing an Iftar party at the Governor House Lahore, Bilawal Bhutto said it was necessary to pay special attention to the law and order situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adopt a joint strategy to eliminate terrorism.

He said that the division in politics has made it difficult to agree on national issues, but the need of the hour is for all political parties to put their personal differences behind them and adopt a common agenda for the country and the people. Bilawal Bhutto said, “Pakistan is currently facing internal and external challenges; we have to once again face problems like global conspiracies and terrorism.
