The Spirit of the 6th Fast

Today marks the 6th day of the “Ashra of Rahmah” (Mercy). Scholars emphasise that during these first ten days, believers should focus on seeking Allah’s mercy through extra prayers and acts of charity.

Pro tip for your health: As the days start to get slightly warmer, health experts recommend drinking at least 2 litres of water between Iftar and Sehar to stay hydrated. Avoid overly fried items like pakoras at Sehar to prevent acidity during the long fasting hours.

A Look Ahead: Weather Update

Most cities in Punjab and Sindh are expected to remain dry and sunny today, making the fast slightly thirsty for those working outdoors. In the northern regions and Islamabad, a pleasant cool breeze is expected to make the wait for Iftar more comfortable.
