Karachi: The British Pound is maintaining its strength in Pakistan’s open market today, reflecting its global value and consistent remittance flows from the United Kingdom.
The UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs. 378.39 and sold at Rs. 382.76.
A large Pakistani community living in London, Manchester, and Birmingham is regularly sending financial support back home. These funds are covering daily expenses, property investments, and higher education.
Students preparing for studies in the UK are also monitoring the pound closely to plan tuition payments.
The strong performance of the pound is continuing to make it one of the highest-valued currencies against the rupee.
