Islamabad: In an effort to ease tensions in the country’s political climate, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again invited the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for talks.

“Let’s sit down and talk; talks are the solution to all problems.”

According to political observers, this conversation took place before the court’s decision on reserved seats, and several members present in the house witnessed the scene.

Barrister Gohar gave a brief but positive response to the Prime Minister’s offer and said:

This informal contact is being described as the beginning of efforts to reduce political tensions and build consensus in the parliament.

After the intensity and division in the political narrative in recent days, the Prime Minister’s offer is being considered an attempt at reconciliation.

Analysts say that if the parties make progress at the negotiating table, this development could prove to be an important milestone in the consolidation of the democratic process.
