Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly rejected the Israeli cabinet’s plan to control Gaza illegally, saying that this move is a dangerous escalation in the ongoing war against the Palestinian people.
In a statement, the Prime Minister made it clear that the expansion of military operations in Gaza would further exacerbate the already dire humanitarian crisis there. He said that this decision is tantamount to destroying any possibility of peace in the region.
PM Shehbaz Sharif stressed that we should not ignore the root causes of this ongoing tragedy, because until the real issues are resolved, the dream of lasting peace in the region cannot be realized.
