The silver market in Pakistan remains influenced by global bullion pressure and USD/PKR exchange stability. International silver demand is showing mixed signals due to industrial slowdown, while local markets remain steady due to controlled supply and demand balance. Analysts expect short-term consolidation near the Rs. 7,000–7,300 range before the next directional move.

Zakat Nisab (Silver Based)

Based on today’s silver rate of Rs. 7,200 per tola, the Zakat Nisab (52.5 tolas of silver) is approximately Rs. 378,000. Any Muslim whose savings exceed this amount and remain above it for one lunar year becomes eligible to pay Zakat.
