Karachi: The Saudi Riyal is currently trading in Pakistan’s open market at Rs. 74.95 for buying and Rs. 75.35 for selling, as the rate is showing stable behavior during today’s trading session.
The riyal is holding strong importance for Pakistan due to the large number of Pakistani workers employed in Saudi Arabia. Millions of families in Pakistan are relying on remittances sent from the Kingdom every month.
Travelers performing Umrah and Hajj are also closely watching the riyal rate, as even small changes are affecting travel budgets and accommodation planning.
The present trend is indicating comfort for remittance senders, as the rate is remaining within a predictable range.
