Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan: Beginning of a new chapter in relations

Earlier, while talking to a private channel at Parliament House, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar described the Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan as “extremely important and positive.”

He said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif gave a message of friendship through Persian poetry in honor of the Iranian President, which translated as: “A friend is one who supports in difficult times.” The leadership of both countries expressed the best feelings during this visit.

According to Atta Tarar, this visit has started a new era in relations between Iran and Pakistan. When he was asked whether the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project was discussed, he said, “Let’s see what action plan is formed, overall the visit was very successful.”

PTI has divided into groups, who is protesting?

Talking about the recent protests of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the Information Minister quipped, “Which group is this protest from? Aleema group, Bushra group, Gandapur group or Sher Afzal Marwat group? This is not known at present.”

Atta Tarar claimed that PTI is no longer a united party but has divided into different groups, whose protests also seem divided and directionless.
