Islamabad – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has introduced a new facility to make it easier for mobile users to choose packages. The new portal will provide information on call, SMS and internet packages of different mobile companies in one place.

According to PTA, this facility has been added to the consumer awareness section of the organisation’s website. Users will be able to compare the offers of different mobile operators through a single platform.

The portal will provide information on packages of different operators, including Jazz, Zong, Ufone and Telenor Pakistan. Users will be able to choose a package according to their needs by keeping in mind the price and available facilities.

The new system will not only include the price but also the details of other available facilities, including internet data, call minutes and SMS. This will make it relatively easy to understand the real difference between different packages.

An important aspect of this facility is the review of changes in the prices of packages over time. Users will also be able to see the changes in the previous prices of some packages along with the current price.

Knowing the price history can help users estimate whether the price of a package has increased or decreased over time. In this way, the purchase decision will not have to be made based on the current rate alone.

Users who use the internet a lot will be able to compare different data packages. Similarly, it will be easier for those who call a lot to see packages with call minutes.

Users who use SMS will also be able to see different options according to their needs. Getting information in one place can reduce the need to search separately on the websites or apps of different companies.

According to the PTA, the main objective of the portal is to improve consumer awareness and transparency in the telecom market. The authority says that with easy access to information, consumers can make more informed choices according to their needs and budget.

This facility has come at a time when the facilities provided in the package have become important for mobile users along with the price. Data, call minutes and other benefits may vary in different packages of the same price.

The new portal can also help users understand the changing trends in package prices and features in the market. However, before making a final choice, it is important for users to also check the current terms and availability of the respective package.

This facility of PTA provides users with an opportunity to understand the offers of different mobile operators at a glance, which can make it easier to make a more informed decision for daily mobile expenses.
