Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Emphasizes Women’s Rights, Announces Legislation Against Violence in Punjab

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave a meaningful message on International Women’s Day that Punjab’s PML-N government had successfully implemented necessary legal measures to fight against attacks against women. The government maintained its strong dedication to delivering total safety along with equal status to women.

The Prime Minister pointed out women’s fundamental position in national development when he noted that progress becomes impossible without their contribution. He honored Fatima Jinnah and former Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto who serve as inspirational figures for other women.
