Petrol Prices is likely to be cheaper

ISLAMABAD: Another good piece of news for the people is that the prices of petroleum products in the country are likely to be significantly reduced. According to oil industry sources, the prices of petrol and other fuels are expected to come down from March 16, which can give a big relief to the common citizens.
According to preliminary estimates, the price of petrol can be reduced by up to Rs 14 per liter, while diesel is likely to be cheaper by up to Rs 8.5. Similarly, kerosene is expected to be reduced by Rs 10 and light diesel by Rs 7.
However, the final decision on this possible reduction in prices will depend on the volatility of crude oil prices in the global market, which will be reviewed in the next three days. If global prices remain low, the public can get a big relief, which is expected to have a positive impact on transport, business, and other sectors.
