The Prime Minister strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Iran and said that the attacks on the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Azerbaijan and Bahrain are also condemnable. He said that Pakistan considers the security of its friendly countries as its own security.

He said that Pakistan is facing the threat of terrorism on the western border, while the Pakistani forces under the leadership of the Field Marshal are fully prepared to defend the country.

According to the Prime Minister, the price of crude oil in the global market has crossed $100 per barrel and since it is determined at the global level, the government had to increase the prices of petroleum products.

He said that despite the difficult circumstances, the government is trying to put the least burden on the people and keep the country’s economy stable.

In this regard, the government has taken austerity measures and has reduced the petrol price of government vehicles by 50%, while it has been decided to close 60% of the vehicles of government departments.

The Prime Minister announced that cabinet members, ministers and advisors will not take salaries for the next two months, while two days’ salary of officers in grade 20 and above will be used for public relief.
