Bejing: India’s dual policy towards China has once again come to light. At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting, Narendra Modi praised President Xi Jinping, while in the past he has been issuing serious threats to China.
During the opposition period, Modi’s stance was that having relations with a country that beheads Indian soldiers is treason. However, now the same Modi is seen singing songs of cooperation with China on the global stage.
After the worst defeat at the hands of Pakistan in Operation “Sindoor”, the Indian Deputy Army Chief had alleged that China had defeated India in the field by providing intelligence and weapons to Pakistan. The Indian military leadership even said that China was supporting Pakistan as a “borrowed knife”.
According to analysts, this policy of the Modi government is an attempt to mislead the people of India. On the one hand, blaming Beijing, and on the other hand, thanking in a diplomatic manner, this double standard shows the true face of India.
