Economic improvement in Pakistan and global position: Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister’s Urs speech

Lahore: Speaking at the Urs ceremony of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh, the Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister shed light on the country’s economic and political situation. The Foreign Minister said that signs of improvement are visible in Pakistan’s economy, and the journey of development, although long, has begun.

He added that Allah Almighty has given Pakistan unprecedented success in its disputes with India, and continuous steps are being taken on the economic and diplomatic front under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The Foreign Minister also made it clear that the Prime Minister, Field Marshal and himself have been together on many foreign trips, and if all institutions and political parties do not work together, time will continue to be wasted.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that cases against PTI are pending in the courts and the government did not create these cases itself. He stressed on respecting the decisions of the courts.

Furthermore, the Foreign Minister mentioned the condemnation of Israeli aggression at international forums and said that the Prime Minister has already made it clear that if Pakistan’s water is stopped, it will be considered tantamount to war, because no party can terminate international agreements alone.
