Karachi – The latest currency exchange rates in Pakistan show how the Pakistani rupee is performing against major international currencies in the open market on April 18, 2026.

According to the updated figures, the US Dollar (USD) is being bought at Rs 278.90 and sold at Rs 280.05. The dollar remains one of the most important currencies for Pakistan, especially for imports, foreign trade, and remittances.

The Euro (EUR) is trading at a higher level, with a buying rate of Rs. 328.23 and a selling rate of Rs. 332.35. Similarly, the British Pound (GBP), which is traditionally stronger than most currencies, is being bought at Rs. 376.78 and sold at Rs. 384.00.

In the Gulf region currencies, the UAE Dirham (AED) is available at Rs. 75.95 for buying and Rs. 77.05 for selling, while the Saudi Riyal (SAR) stands at Rs. 74.40 and Rs. 75.40 respectively. These currencies are especially important for overseas Pakistani workers who send remittances back home.

Among other major currencies, the Australian Dollar (AUD) is being traded between Rs 198.17 and Rs 204.75, while the Canadian Dollar (CAD) is slightly lower, ranging from Rs 202.05 to Rs 204.75. The Bahrain Dinar (BHD), one of the highest-valued currencies, is trading at Rs. 729.05 for buying and Rs. 739.85 for selling.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Yuan (CNY), reflecting Pakistan’s strong trade ties with China, is available at Rs. 36.45 for buying and Rs. 37.55 for selling. The Danish Krone (DKK) is also listed, trading between Rs. 43.25 and Rs. 43.65.

Overall, these rates give a clear picture of the open market currency trends in Pakistan. However, experts advise that exchange rates can change throughout the day depending on market demand, global trends, and economic conditions.
