Karachi – If you’re heading to the exchange counter today, the open market is telling a slightly different story than the banking screens. As of mid-morning on April 14, 2026, we’re seeing the usual retail “premium” play out, with a noticeable spread between what you’ll pay and what you’ll get back for your foreign currency.

The Big Players: USD and GBP

The US Dollar (USD) is holding firm at the top of the list, with a buying rate of 279.00 and a selling price of 280.05. For those keeping a close eye on the spread, that 1.05 PKR difference is a standard margin in today’s retail environment.
