Islamabad: Pakistan has reiterated its unwavering support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinians. Recently, the Foreign Office spokesperson issued a statement strongly condemning Israel’s statements regarding the expulsion of the Palestinian people from Gaza.
The statement stressed that “these measures are a clear violation of international law,” and that “forced evictions and illegal settlements undermine all efforts for peace and stability.” Pakistan has also called on the international community to play its role regarding the plight of the Palestinian people.
Pakistan has long supported the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and based on the pre-1967 borders.
This stance not only expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people but also reflects Pakistan’s commitment to a two-state solution for a lasting and comprehensive peace.
