Islamabad: In an important statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan has completely rejected the allegations and claims made by India, calling them lies, propaganda and a manifestation of war madness.

According to the Foreign Office, India leveled allegations against Pakistan before conducting a full investigation into the Pahalgam attack, and is distorting the facts to hide its aggression.

The spokesperson clarified that in May 2025, Pakistan responded effectively to Indian aggression, and successfully targeted enemy targets.

Terming Indian claims related to Operation Mahadev and nuclear blackmail as “unacceptable and baseless”, it was said that Pakistan has always demonstrated responsibility.

The Foreign Office regretted that steps like the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty are not only a violation of international agreements but also an attempt by India to sabotage the peace process.

Terming the Indian Home Minister’s statements as fabricated stories and political point-scoring, the spokesperson said that Pakistan’s position is clear: peace is possible only on the basis of mutual respect and under the principles of the United Nations.
