Islamabad: After meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir, a high-level delegation of US companies has announced an initial investment of $500 million in Pakistan. In this meeting, discussions were held on increasing cooperation in mining, infrastructure and construction projects.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House, an American company will set up a modern polymetallic refinery in Pakistan, through which gold, copper and other valuable minerals will be exported from the country to global markets. The project will not only create new employment opportunities but will also promote technology transfer and sustainable development.

Several important agreements were also signed during the meeting. A historic agreement was signed between the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and an American company regarding critical minerals. Similarly, the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and another American company signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) in the fields of logistics and construction.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and federal ministers also participated in the meeting. The American delegation expressed its desire for long-term partnership in Pakistan, calling it an attractive destination for investment in the region. This development is a positive step for Pakistan’s economy, reflecting the government’s efforts to attract foreign investment.
