KARACHI, Pakistan – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a positive trading day today, and the 100 Index saw a rise of 809 points. The 100 index closed at 117,315, up 414 points, showing a major improvement over the previous day.
During the trading day today, the 100 index remained in the band of 1,129 points, while the highest level reached 117,888. The deal of 42 crore shares in the share market was settled at a value of 34 billion rupees, as a result of which the market capitalization increased by 52 billion rupees to 14,345 billion rupees.
Today’s positive performance at the Pakistan Stock Exchange instilled confidence among investors and gave them an opportunity to rejoice.
