Karachi: The price of gold has seen a significant increase across the country, including Karachi. According to the local Sarafa market, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,620 per tola, after which the new price has increased to Rs 3 lakh 25 thousand. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also recorded an increase of Rs 1389, and it reached Rs 278,635.
Gold prices have increased in the global market also. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $10, after which gold is trading at $3084 per ounce.
Economists say that due to rising global inflation, currency fluctuations, and investors’ interest in gold, its price is constantly increasing. In Pakistan too, the impact of the dollar’s value at the local level and gold rates in the global market is clearly being seen.
