Karachi: Investors’ enthusiasm remained at the Pakistan Stock Exchange. At the end of trading on Tuesday, the 100 Index recorded a gain of 984 points, after which the index closed at a historic level of 1,43,037 points.
The index also reached 1,43,281 points during trading. Today, 540 million shares were traded, worth a total of Rs 36 billion.
According to analysts, the improvement in the country’s economic direction and increased business confidence have taken the market to new heights.
