Gold Prices in Pakistan Reach New Heights with PKR 52,600 Increase per Tola in 2024

Karachi – Prices of gold in Pakistan went high in the year 2024 with an addition of PKR 52,600 in a tola. At the end of the year, it was found out that one tola of gold was priced at PKR 272,600.

Throughout the year, gold prices fluctuated within a range of PKR 77,100 per tola. The highest recorded price was PKR 287,900 per tola, while the lowest was PKR 210,800 per tola.

Internationally, the prices of gold were up by $552 per ounce and ended the year at $2,614 per ounce, representing an annual increase of 26.7%. Internationally, gold fluctuated in the vicinity of $774, leaving a highest price per ounce of $2,784 and the lowest price of $2,010 in 2024.

This upward trend in the prices of gold, both in the domestic and global markets, is another indicator that people will always desire to own this metal, especially during any form of economic turmoil across the world.
