Washington / Tehran: US President Donald Trump has announced that the US has launched a major military operation against Iran. He says that the aim of this operation is to eliminate the threats posed by the Iranian government and to defend the American people.

According to foreign news agencies, Donald Trump said that the US military has recently launched a large-scale operation against Iran. He said that Iran cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons and that Tehran is trying to reactivate its nuclear programme.

The US president accused Iran of developing long-range missiles that could pose a threat to the US and its allies. He said that the US has the ability to destroy Iran’s missile system and missile industry, and practical steps are being taken in this regard.

He also hinted at targeting the Iranian Navy and said that all necessary measures have been taken to protect US personnel deployed in the region, but the possibility of casualties cannot be completely ruled out.

Explosions, smoke clouds in Tehran

According to reports, several explosions were heard in the Iranian capital Tehran after the sudden attacks by the US and Israel. Iranian media said that missiles fell in different areas, including University Street and the Democratic Area.

According to reports, thick clouds of smoke were seen rising from different parts of the city, while panic spread among the public.

Iran’s strong response

The head of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament has announced that Iran is preparing for retaliation, and its response will be very strong. He said that the situation is no longer under the control of the opponents.

According to Iranian media, there are reports of missiles falling near the compound of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Experts say that the sudden increase in tensions between the United States and Iran could lead to a major conflict in the Middle East, the effects of which could also be felt globally.
