Lahore: Thousands of devotees from all over Pakistan and foreign countries joined Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif’s (RA) revered Sufi scholar, poet, and spiritual leader’s Urs Mubarak ceremony when it began on January 23 2025 in Lahore. Thousands of devotees visit his shrine in Lahore during these three days to pay homage and seek blessings from him and learn from the wisdom he shared in his lifetime.
The Urs Mubarak dedicated to Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) showcases his spiritual accomplishments through ritual Quran reading and devotional poetry performances and speech-based discussions on his religious and literary influence. During the celebration scholars unite with mystics and admirers to emphasize both the wisdom he shared in his teachings and the contemporary significance of his literary accomplishments.
Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) left this world on January 18th of 1993 which has led to the 33rd year of his death anniversary. His insight along with his writing skills lives on through Kiran Kiran Suraj, Dil Darya Samandar and Qatra Qatra Qulzam in addition to other literary works he created. His inspirational words shape generations of people while enabling them to bridge material life with spiritual understanding.
