Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has termed news of Nawaz Sharif meeting PTI founder in Adiala Jail as mere speculation.

Talking to the media at Data Darbar, he clarified that such a meeting is neither necessary nor reality. “It could just be someone’s wish, it has nothing to do with reality,” Ishaq Dar said.

He added that the law will take its own course and the government is focusing on economic development in collaboration with all political parties.

Ishaq Dar said that inflation has come down significantly and public welfare projects are underway. He described the PPP as an important ally and said that the party that supports him in difficult times will not be abandoned.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that when Pakistan was attacked, all parties, including the opposition, united and raised their voices, which had a positive impact on the world.
