Islamabad DC Refutes Fake Closure Notice as Red Zone Goes Under Restrictions

Lahore – Security has been put on high alert in Islamabad due to important international diplomatic activities. After the arrival of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, strict surveillance is being maintained in sensitive areas of the city, especially the Red Zone.

On Saturday, security agencies set up check posts on various routes, while police and Rangers have been deployed at important places. A significant increase in security was seen around government buildings and important hotels, especially the Serena Hotel.

According to official sources, after reaching Islamabad, Abbas Araqchi met Ishaq Dar at the Serena Hotel, where important international negotiations have been held in the past.Meanwhile, high-level delegations are also expected to arrive from the United States.

According to the White House, US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to arrive in Pakistan on Saturday to take part in the ongoing diplomatic process. In addition, the possible arrival of US Vice President JD Vance, who has previously been involved in negotiations with Iran, is also under consideration.

Although the initial talks were not successful, the current activities indicate a new attempt.

Experts say that the increased security in Islamabad and the arrival of international delegations indicate that significant diplomatic developments can be expected in the coming days.
