Doha: Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, while holding a press conference in Doha, said that Qatar will not ignore the recent Israeli attack under any circumstances. He said that this attack is not only an attack on Qatar but also on the peace and stability of the entire region, which has put the Middle East in serious danger.

The Prime Minister announced that Qatar will not be limited to statements and resolutions, but will use all possible options, including legal, political and diplomatic means, to hold Israel accountable globally. For this purpose, Qatar has also decided to form a special legal team that will challenge Israeli actions in international courts.

According to Sheikh Mohammed, the attack came at a time when Hamas’s negotiating team was discussing American proposals to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. He said that Israel deliberately sabotaged the process so that peace could not be established in the region.

He added that this move is a dangerous attempt to push the entire Middle East towards chaos and anarchy.

The Qatari prime minister also strongly denied reports that the US had given advance notice of the attack. He explained that US officials contacted Qatar ten minutes after the attack, but Qatar was unable to stop the attack because the drone was not on its radar.

Discussing its role as a mediator regarding the Gaza ceasefire, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said that Qatar will continue its efforts and no force can stop Qatar from striving to establish peace in the region.
