Lahore: A new wave of inflation has affected the people, wheat and flour prices have increased significantly across the province. According to market sources, wheat has increased from Rs 2,200 to Rs 2,800 per maund, while a 20 kg bag of flour has become expensive by Rs 100.

According to the Nanbai Association, after the increase in the price of wheat, it has become a compulsion to increase the price of roti, and soon roti is likely to be sold for Rs 16 instead of Rs 14.

Public circles have expressed concern and said that the problems of the poor class will increase further due to the increase in the price of bread.
