Army Chief General Asim Munir Reaches Tehran for Regional Mediation

Pakistan Leads the Way: Army Chief Asim Munir Works to Bring Peace to the Middle East

Pakistan is playing the role of a peacemaker on the world stage. Today, Field Marshal Asim Munir arrived in Tehran to share a special report on how to finally end the war that has been shaking the region.

Why is this visit important?

Field Marshal Munir met with Major General Abdollahi of Iran’s central military headquarters. His mission was simple: show the world that through talk and teamwork, the fighting can stop. He explained the steps Pakistan has already taken to get the United States and Iran to stop firing and start talking.

The Iranian leaders thanked Pakistan for its help during these tough times. For the average person, this is great news—peace in the Middle East means more stable oil prices and a safer world for everyone. Field Marshal Munir’s efforts prove that Pakistan is committed to being a “force for good” in the global community.
