ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that if talks are held between Pakistan and India, they will include three important points. Kashmir, terrorism, and water. He said these three issues are long-standing disputes between the two countries, and talks on them can promote peace and stability in the region.

Khawaja Asif said that this is a golden opportunity for India and Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir issue. He added that terrorism has been happening for the last 20 or 30 years and Pakistan is the biggest victim of it. He said it was ironic that a country suffering from terrorism should be blamed and attacked.

The Defense Minister said that the US President has made another development by talking about the Kashmir issue, and he has said that the issue of Kashmir should also be discussed.

It should be noted that on Saturday, May 10, a ceasefire was reached between the two countries after a few hours of vigorous response from Pakistan to the Indian aggression. The US played the role of a mediator for the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, but this ceasefire was done at the request of India.

The defense minister said that Pakistan has shown the iron grip of its patience and military might and now all the problems should be resolved. to bring peace to the people of the region.
