Lahore — Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, while giving a message to the nation on Youm-e-Takbir, has said that May 28 is a source of pride not only for Pakistan but also for the entire Islamic nation. According to him, the day of becoming a nuclear power reminds us of national unity, sacrifice and scientific self-reliance.

He said that Pakistan’s nuclear power is a symbol of fear for Pakistan’s enemies, while for us this day is an opportunity to renew our resolve. He especially paid tribute to the benefactor of Pakistan Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and said that his services made the nation invincible.

On Youm-e-Takbir, Hafiz Naeem said that to make Pakistan a strong and independent country, we have to further elevate our scientific and moral ideals.
