Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrated with devotion a(PBUH) wasnd respect across the country

Islamabad: Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated with religious devotion and respect across the country. Mosques, houses, markets and major highways in various cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar, were decorated with green flags and electric lights. Milad gatherings, Naat khawanis and special prayers were also organised at different places.

In Lahore, illumination was given in different areas of the city on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Mosques, houses and government buildings were also decorated. Several processions were taken out in the city. The traffic police made special arrangements to maintain the smooth flow of the processions. 16 DSPs, 400 inspectors and more than 1400 wardens and patrolling officers were deployed for five major processions.

In Karachi too, illumination was illuminated in different areas on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Many parts of the city were decorated with green flags and electric lights. Milad gatherings and processions were held at different places. Special traffic and security arrangements were made for the main processions in the city.

A main procession in Karachi started its journey from Shaheed Masjid Kharadar. The procession reached Gulzar Habib Masjid via New Memon Mosque and ended at Asr time. Other main processions were also taken out in the city.

Special arrangements were also made in Islamabad for the celebration of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Mosques and buildings were illuminated in different areas. The main procession started from Jamia Masjid Al-Rida Ji Seon and ended at Sakhi Mahmood Darbar via designated routes. Islamabad Police deployed more than 3,000 personnel for the security of religious gatherings and processions.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was also celebrated with religious fervour in Peshawar. Various gatherings and processions were held in the city. Events on the theme of Naat Khawani and Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) were organised. Special security arrangements were also made for the main procession.

Citizens in different cities of the country read Durood and Salam on this occasion and offered special prayers for the security, peace and prosperity of the country. Overall, the gatherings for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) highlighted the importance of peace, unity, and following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) along with religious devotion.
