Faisalabad: PML-N leader and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry told the media in Faisalabad that attacks on foreign food chains were damaging the state’s reputation, and such elements would never be forgiven.
He said that around 20 incidents of attacks took place across the country, out of which 12 cases were registered in Punjab alone and 142 people were arrested. In Islamabad, 15 people have been arrested in two incidents.
Talal Chaudhry said that when the attackers were arrested, they began to apologize, but they would be dealt with strictly according to the law. He also made it clear that no new incidents have been reported in the last 24 hours, and all political parties have expressed their disinterest in these actions.
