Munich, Germany— Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has expressed concern over the disillusionment of Pakistan’s youth, attributing it to the politics of the founding members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Speaking to the media in Munich, Bilawal emphasized the need to “cleanse” Pakistan of PTI’s political influence, stating that the country must decide how it wants to move forward.

“Today, Pakistan’s youth are disillusioned, and the role of PTI’s founders is responsible for this. We must rid Pakistan of PTI’s politics,” said Bilawal. He added that expecting democratic behavior from PTI’s founders is futile, and the nation must collectively decide how to steer the country toward stability and progress.

Bilawal stressed the importance of achieving political and economic stability to address the country’s challenges. “We have always maintained that all institutions should work within their constitutional boundaries. Politicians must also operate within their domain to ensure the country’s progress,” he said.

The PPP chairman also highlighted Pakistan’s absence from global discussions on technology and innovation. “A conference on artificial intelligence was held in France, where the world discussed the future of technology. Where was Pakistan? We are not preparing our youth for the digital age,” he remarked. Bilawal called for urgent steps to equip Pakistan’s younger generation with the skills needed to thrive in the modern era.

On the issue of terrorism, Bilawal expressed concern over the rising incidents of violence in the region following the change of government in Kabul. “The environment has changed since the new government took over in Kabul, and terrorism incidents have increased. To combat terrorism, we need to build a national consensus and work together,” he said.
