Lahore: Punjab Safe Cities Authority has further improved the e-challan system for the convenience of citizens. Under the new system, citizens can now submit complaints and photos of incorrect challans online from home.
According to the Safe City spokesperson, after receiving the complaint, the team will immediately verify and if the challan is found to be incorrect, it will be cancelled immediately. This process will not only save the public time but will also enable faster resolution of complaints.
Through the new feature, e-challans will be sent to mobile SMS as well as WhatsApp, while all notifications will reach the numbers listed in the excise data directly. According to officials, the aim of this initiative is to provide relief to the public and make the system more reliable.
