Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the sale of tickets for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League, after which cricket fans will get the opportunity to get tickets for the event.
According to the announcement, PSL 11 tickets will be available from March 17, while the online sale will start at 12 noon in the initial phase.
Cricket fans will be able to buy tickets online through the website of a private courier company, while physical tickets can also be obtained from its centers established across the country.
A major change in the PSL this year is that for the first time, 8 teams will be included in the league, due to which the number of matches in the tournament will increase to 44.
PSL 11 matches will be held in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and Peshawar. Faisalabad and Peshawar will host league matches for the first time in this edition, which will be a new experience for the fans.
The starting price of tickets will start from Rs 250 in Lahore and Karachi, while tickets will be available from Rs 300 in Faisalabad and Rs 400 in Multan and Rawalpindi. Fans can purchase a maximum of eight tickets on one identity card.
In addition, a limited number of e-tickets will also be provided in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. A family enclosure has been allocated for the Peshawar Zalmi and Pindez match to be played at the Imran Khan Stadium in Peshawar on March 28, where VIP family zone tickets will be available for around Rs 2,000.
Corporate boxes will also be available in the stadiums of Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi, while tickets for other galleries will be sold in all host stadiums.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer said that the sale of tickets for the 11th season of the league is an important stage and this time efforts have been made to keep the prices reasonable so that more and more fans can come to the stadium and watch the matches.
He added that the inclusion of new teams will see exciting competitions and new rivalries in the league and it is expected that this season of PSL will also provide a lot of entertainment for the fans.
