New York: Asim Iftikhar Ahmad has said that Pakistan is leading diplomatic efforts at the global level to reduce tensions between the US and Iran and is also receiving cooperation from important countries like China, Saudi Arabia and Turkey in this regard.

He clarified that the current situation has affected global energy supply, due to which the economies of many countries have been threatened. Pakistan is playing an active role in meeting this challenge.
