Freedom enthusiasm in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz’s emphasis on economic stability and solidarity

Lahore: The main ceremony of Independence Day was held in Lahore with a new resolve and message of unity, where Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her commitment to the country’s development and unity. She said that August 14 is not just a day of celebration but an opportunity to renew the pledge of sacrifice, unity, and service.

In her address, Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the martyrs and their families and said that this day is in the name of those mothers, widows, and children who sacrificed their happiness for the homeland. She said that the leadership of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the bravery of the soldiers have shown the world that the Pakistani nation, if united, cannot bow down to any force.

The Punjab Chief Minister clarified that now the real fight of Pakistan is against poverty, ignorance, and chaos, and the people, political leadership, and institutions will together lead this country on the path of economic stability. The streets and buildings of Lahore were ablaze with national flags and lamps, while songs of independence and slogans of Pakistan Zindabad added to the excitement.
