Kasur: The 268th Urs celebrations for Sufi poet Baba Bulleh Shah will take place in Kasur from August 22 to August 24.
The district administration has focused on providing a peaceful and comfortable environment for the thousands of pilgrims expected to attend. The three-day event will feature various activities, including Mahafil-e-Sama, Qawwali performances, and special prayers. Additionally, food and other amenities will be provided for visitors.
To allow for full participation, a public holiday has been declared in Kasur on Saturday, August 23.
The Urs is a major cultural and spiritual event that highlights Kasur as an important center for art and spirituality, known for its peaceful atmosphere and hospitality.
