Iran has reportedly set five key conditions for resuming nuclear negotiations with the United States, including sanctions removal and asset restoration.

Tehran – According to Iranian media reports, Tehran has presented five important conditions for the resumption of nuclear talks with the US, including a reduction in tensions in the region and the lifting of sanctions.

The report says that Iran’s first demand is an end to the ongoing tensions and hostilities on all fronts, especially in Lebanon. Tehran maintains that no negotiation process can proceed without lasting peace in the region.

The second important condition is the complete lifting of economic and financial sanctions against Iran. According to Iranian officials, these sanctions are not only affecting the economy but are also creating severe pressure on the public.

The third condition is the complete recovery of frozen assets. Iran claims that billions of dollars of its assets are frozen abroad, the return of which is necessary to enable economic stability.

As a fourth condition, Iran has demanded compensation for war losses. Tehran says that the losses incurred in past tensions must be repaired so that confidence can be built.

The fifth and most important condition is to recognise Iran’s sovereign rights over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran says the waterway is an important part of its economic and geographical sovereignty.

According to analysts, these conditions from Iran could further complicate the negotiation process because there are already clear differences in the positions of the United States and Iran.

Political experts say that if both sides show flexibility, there is room for a possible diplomatic solution; otherwise, tensions in the region are likely to persist.
