Karachi: The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of gold in Pakistan has increased by Rs 1,000 per tola, reaching a new cost of Rs 277,000.
Even the price of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs 858, coming to Rs 237,483. The trend in gold prices around the world, where they went up by $10 an ounce and ended up at $2,652 an ounce, is also seen in the United States.
It’s important to note that this is the second day in a row that the price of gold has gone up by Rs 1,000 in the local market. This shows that the prices of valuable metals are still going up.
The steady rise in gold prices is a reflection of changes in both the global and local markets, which worries both buyers and investors.
