The US Dollar is maintaining a strong position against the Pakistani Rupee, trading at Rs. 279.25 (buying) and Rs. 280.30 (selling).
This rise in the dollar value is increasing import costs, especially for fuel and industrial goods.
On the other hand, exporters are benefiting from improved returns, but the trend reflects continued pressure on Pakistan’s external account and trade balance.
