KARACHI: The price of the US dollar witnessed stability on Friday in the country’s open market, where the buying price was Rs 281.25 and the selling price was Rs 282.75.
According to the foreign exchange market, minor fluctuations were seen in other major currencies. The British pound remained steady at Rs. 372.40 and sold at Rs. 375.90, while the euro was available at Rs. 317.65 and sold at Rs. 320.40. The Saudi riyal traded at Rs. 75.10 and Rs. 75.65, and the UAE dirham was at Rs. 76.60 and Rs. 77.25. The Australian dollar was available at Rs. 180.75 and sold at Rs. 183, while the Canadian dollar was available at Rs. 203.60 and sold at Rs. 206.
According to experts, the currency market may show more movement under the influence of economic policies and the global exchange rate in the next few days.
